My Nightmare Intrepid is WAY Worse Than I Thought!
Romances sometimes die fast. That's what's happened with my new-to-me 1997 Chrysler Intrepid 3.5L as I look under the body.
This week on TestDrive we're throwing in a wrench to our plans for the 1997 Chrysler Intrepid I bought several weeks ago. After taking it to a number of shops I had high hopes of fixing the brake issue, but after getting the chance to thoroughly look under the car we've found some very troubling issues. We go over the damage, neglect, and rot that has eaten away at this once flagship sedan with some close up 4K footage of this wreck of a car.
We also discuss what's next for our cheap car project now that the Intrepid is no longer financially salvageable, and reveal a replacement cheap car that's in much better mechanical condition. Try to guess what I've traded my nightmare Intrepid for before the big reveal around 01:50.
