2020 BMW X1 xDrive28i Review
We take the LCI 2020 BMW X1 xDrive28i on a Canadian road-trip to see how this little crossover handles our winters and our bottoms during our 2,000km trip.
For the 2020 model year BMW has refreshed their entry-level sport activity vehicle. Our Spotlight is on the 2020 BMW X1 xDrive28i with M Sport package. Our test vehicle has an MSRP of $50,100.00 CAD and comes well equipped for the price and segment. Finished in Misano Blue Metallic Paint with the Black Dakota Leather Perforated interior, this LCI X1 offers a refreshed look for customers.
The front end and rear bumpers have undergone an update, with the changes from the new X5 and X3, the 2020 BMW X1 has a consistent exterior design look to its larger siblings with the M Sport Package. Our test vehicle also comes with the Premium Enhanced Package which adds a heated steering wheel, alarm system, power folding side mirrors, automatic trunk, HomeLink, comfort access, panoramic sunroof, sport seats with front heat and power along with driver memory, LED headlights with LED fog lights, a colour Head-Up Display, BMW navigation, and the Park Assisted with front and rear PDC.
The $2,250.00 M Sport Package adds 19" Style 816M bicolour rims, sport automatic transmission, M Sport Steering, exterior shadowline package, M Aerodynamics Package, and the M Leather steering wheel which retains its heating function unlike older M Sport models. Our test vehicle also has the $950.00 black Dakota Leather seating. Other features of the 2020 BMW X1 include wireless Apple CarPlay, a new ambient lighting system, and LED interior lighting.
