2018 Kia Optima EX PHEV
TestDrive is excited to have the chance to feature our first electric vehicle! The 2018 Kia Optima EX PHEV is a 43km plug-in hybrid electric vehicle with the gas range of it's standard counterpart. The electric motor allows for very short distance commuting without the range anxiety of a full-blown EV. We put this mid-size family sedan to the test to see how practical that small EV range is for daily life here in Québec, and find out what type of charging and range we can expect during a full week.
