Made in Canada
Our Story
Perpetual Radio Networks launched as Canada's first podcast network producing weekly technology shows out of Nile Livesey's studio in Mississauga, ON. We launched our flagship automotive review show TestDrive in November of 2015 with our first video on our own 2001 BMW 740iL. Over the course of the next year and a half TestDrive grew to include videos on newer models, and focused more on the review aspect of automotive videos.

In February 2017 we published the first true episode of TestDrive Spotlight on a 2003 Mercedes-Benz E 500 sedan, where we talked briefly about some common problems with that model. That sparked the format we've come to know for our show, and has continued into 2018 when we started working directly with manufacturers to produce weekly episodes on new vehicles.

In 2017 the Perpetual Radio Networks operation was moved from Ontario, Canada, to Acton Vale, Québec. During our time in the province we expanded our show, growing subscribers and views through new car reviews and strategic partnerships with dealerships to feature classic vehicles. In the summer of 2022 Nile moved back to Ontario and setup his operation in St. Thomas. James Beaulieu joined the team at the same time, taking over our Montréal bureau.

2023 has proved to be an important year for us, as we brought on a new part-time co-host, Jennifer, and a new full-time co-host Victor. We also began the process to reorganize the brand, dropping Perpetual Radio Networks as it no longer reflects what we do. Moving forward PRN_TestDrive is who we are. PRN are the first three sequences of an automatic transmission; Park-Neutral-Reverse followed by Drive, but in our case we don't just drive the cars, we TestDrive them.
